| I have sent a letter to the Governor, asking him to use his line item veto on the de facto pay cuts for state employees. it reads in part: "Since the last time our state workforce was given a pay raise, $100 in purchasing power is now buying just $85.60 in groceries, taking more money out of their pockets will not help our economy improve."
