Healthy Start's Ann Davis smiled from ear to ear as she accepted the over-sized check from Congressman Alan Boyd. Children's health is an important part of this campaign, and for our everyday lives. The research is clear: the early years are so ultra important to a child's future and anything we can do to improve outcomes will improve our society as a whole and save money in the long run. Healthy Start does such a wonderful job with scarce resources it's great to see the coalition get a little extra from the community.  Congratulations Ann and the entire Healthy Start Coalition Board for a job well done.
